BREAKING: TERRORISM CASE: JUSTICE NYAKO POSTPONES NNAMDI KANU’S TRIAL INDEFINITELY

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, indefinitely.
The trial was halted after Nyako issued a recusal order on September 24, 2024, after Kanu requested that she step down from his case, citing a lack of confidence in her ability to fairly handle the trial.
Following this, Nyako sent Kanu’s case file to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Tsoho.
However, Tsoho decided to return the file to Nyako, instructing her to continue overseeing the trial.
Kanu is facing charges of terrorism brought against him by the Federal Government.
He has been in detention since his rearrest in Kenya and his subsequent extraordinary rendition back to Nigeria in 2021.
