The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has vowed to take legal action against any individual or group attempting to hinder its operations or assault its personnel.

General Manager, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, issued the warning in a statement on Saturday while condemning recent attacks on LASPA officials during routine parking compliance checks at Better Mart, Badore Road, Off Addo Road, Ajah, and Ashley Mall, Epe.

Adelabu described the assaults as “illegal and unacceptable,” stressing that those responsible would be brought to justice.

She emphasised that obstructing government officials on duty is a serious offence, while physically attacking them is an even graver violation.

“This incident is a clear breach of protocol and an unlawful obstruction of government duties,” she said.

“LASPA strongly condemns any form of violence or intimidation against its personnel and remains committed to lawful enforcement and public safety.”

She reaffirmed that LASPA will continue enforcing parking regulations across Lagos and will not be intimidated in the discharge of its mandate.
