Aniagwu said the reshuffle followed the resignation of the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Girl Child Development, Orode Uduaghan, and the Commissioner for Youth Development, ThankGod Trakiriowei.

“They resigned to pursue their political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general elections. The former commissioners stepped down to contest for seats in the Delta State House of Assembly,” Aniagwu said.

Aniagwu added that Oborevwori appreciated the duo for their service to the state and wished them success in their political pursuits.

He noted that the new supervisory arrangements take immediate effect pending further directives from the state government.
