“YOUR PLAN NO GO WORK” — DAVIDO CALLS OUT GBOYEGA OYETOLA OVER OSUN GUBER POLITICS

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has called out the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over an alleged political plan.
Davido made the remarks in the early hours of Tuesday via his X account, describing the alleged move as “very embarrassing.”
The singer, who referred to Oyetola as “the most desperate politician,” claimed that the minister’s alleged plan had failed.
“The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola. Very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work,” Davido wrote.
Although the singer did not reveal details of the alleged plan, the statement comes amid rising political tension in Osun State ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
The development also follows Davido’s recent announcement that he would be taking a two-month break from music to actively campaign for the re-election of his uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.
