‘I’M DEEPLY SADDENED’ – KWANKWASO MOURNS KANO POLITICAL SINGER KOSAN WAKA

The vice presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has expressed grief over the death of Kano-based political singer Muhammadu Buhari, popularly known as Kosan Waka.
Media reports indicate that the renowned singer died on Sunday in Kano at the age of 47.
Reacting to the news, Kwankwaso said in a Facebook post that he was deeply saddened by the singer’s passing, describing it as a painful loss.
The former governor of Kano State said the deceased contributed to the advancement of the Kwankwassiyya Movement.
He wrote, “I’m deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the renowned signer Muhammadu Buhari a.k.a Kosan Waka today.
Kosan Waka’s role in advancing the ideals of our movement will never be forgotten. I pray that Almighty Allah grants him Jannatul Firdaus.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time”.
