Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay has replaced the “Idibia” tattoo on her left chest with a butterfly design, days after dismissing rumours that she had reconciled with her former husband, singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.

The change was noticed in photos shared by the actress on her Instagram page on Tuesday night.

The new tattoo comes shortly after Annie shared a post suggesting that she was moving on and rejected reports that she had reunited with the music star.

The actress addressed the speculation in a post on her Instagram Stories, explaining that the videos being used to support the reconciliation claims were old and had been taken out of context.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.

The reconciliation rumours emerged after an old video showing Annie and 2Baba sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub resurfaced on social media.

However, Annie’s latest post and the decision to replace the tattoo have sparked further speculation about the state of her relationship with the singer.

Annie and 2Baba, who have two daughters together, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together.

2Baba has since married Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
