BBNAIJA HONORS LATE FORMER HOUSEMATES

Big Brother Naija conducted a homage to pay tribute to three deceased former contestants, Francisca Owumi, Joseph Ada, and Rico Swavey.
The participants of the current season assembled as photographs of the departed celebrities were displayed on the screen, succeeded by a respectful minute of silence to honor their legacy on Monday.
The tribute acknowledged Owumi, the second-place finisher of the inaugural season in 2006, renowned for her lively, free-spirited character and enthusiasm for dance.
She succumbed in 2024 after combating a disease.
Joseph “Joe” Ada, another resident of 2006, was commemorated following his passing in May 2023 due to health challenges.
Rico Swavey (Patrick Fakoya), from the 2018 Double Wahala season, recognized for his ingenuity and serene demeanor, was likewise celebrated after his untimely demise in a 2022 automotive accident.
