BBNAIJA SEASON 11 TO PREMIERE JULY 26, WINNER TO GET RECORD N160M PRIZE

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the 11th season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality television show will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the winner set to receive a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million.

The organisers made the announcement during a press briefing on Wednesday, revealing that the prize is the largest since the reality television show debuted in 2006.

Preparations for the new season began earlier this year with physical auditions held from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu after prospective contestants were shortlisted.

Participation in the auditions was free and restricted to applicants aged 21 years and above with valid means of identification.

The upcoming edition follows the success of the previous season, which concluded on October 5, 2025, with Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, emerging as the winner.

Imisi defeated 28 other contestants to clinch a prize package worth ₦150 million, comprising ₦80 million in cash and a sport utility vehicle (SUV).

With the increased prize money, organisers say the 11th edition is expected to raise the stakes as contestants compete for the biggest reward in the history of the reality show.
