BREAKING: MAKINDE REMOVES SSG IN MAJOR CABINET RESHUFFLE

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has effected a cabinet reshuffle, relieving the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, of her appointment with immediate effect.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday in Ibadan by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
According to the statement, Governor Makinde has approved the appointment of Prof. Musibau Babatunde as the new Secretary to the State Government.

Similarly, the governor moved Temilolu Ashamu from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Makinde also announced his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate, who will consequently be presented to the state House of Assembly for screening.
The governor equally appointed Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
