CARRICK SAYS HE IS “NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING” AFTER MANCHESTER UNITED’S 3-0 DEFEAT TO BOURNEMOUTH

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has refused to speculate about his future at the club following a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The defeat has intensified the pressure on Carrick, with Rayan, Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson all finding the net to secure a convincing victory for Bournemouth.
United’s poor run of form has continued, with the club now having failed to win any of their last eight matches across all competitions.
Speaking after the match, Carrick was asked whether he expected to be sacked following the latest setback.
The United manager responded: “I am not expecting anything. I will always do what is best for the football club.”
His comments come amid growing uncertainty over his position, as the club continues to struggle for positive results.
It remains unclear whether Carrick will remain in charge when Manchester United travel to face Chelsea next Saturday, with the club’s hierarchy yet to clarify his immediate future.
