Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, is responsible for managing his finances, describing her as his “life coordinator.”
The singer made the disclosure in a viral video that surfaced online on Wednesday.
In the clip, Davido was seen calling Chioma after experiencing difficulties accessing his bank account while attempting to send money to his personal assistant, Lati.
Unable to complete the transaction himself, the singer asked his wife to transfer $4,000 to his aide on his behalf.
During the call, Davido said, “Hello, baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t log in, I don’t know why, it’s the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija. I love you.”
Following the call, his official streamer, Davreltv, asked whether Chioma had taken over the management of his finances.
Responding, Davido confirmed that she oversees his money because of his tendency to spend recklessly.
“Of course. You know I’m a reckless spender. She arranges everything. She’s my life coordinator,” the singer said.
The revelation has sparked reactions online, with many fans praising the couple’s partnership and Davido’s openness about entrusting his wife with his financial affairs.
