Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has taken a swipe at National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) President, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, over his rejection of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s directive banning the union’s operations in Osun State.

The MEDIA  reports that Governor Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle, suspended NURTW activities across the state ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.

According to the governor, the move was aimed at restoring order in motor parks and ending the collection of illegal levies.

MC Oluomo, however, rejected the directive, insisting that the governor has no authority to interfere in the affairs of the NURTW.

Reacting in a post on X, Davido mocked the union leader, writing: “MC Oluomo wey no fit compose sentence dey talk.. Kudosuuuu.”

The post generated mixed reactions on social media, with many users debating the singer’s remarks and raising questions about MC Oluomo’s educational background.

In a follow-up post shared on his Instagram Story on Monday, Davido appeared to question MC Oluomo’s alleged involvement in the political unrest in Osun State.

Tagging the NURTW president, the singer wrote: “@kingmcoluomo dem say u Dey game. I doubt lol look ur mirror.”

The Media recalls that Davido was appointed in April as the youth campaign leader for Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid in Osun State.
