ELON MUSK BECOMES WORLD’S FIRST $1 TRILLION INDIVIDUAL AFTER SPACEX IPO

SpaceX founder and Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk has become the first person in history to surpass a net worth of $1 trillion, following the highly successful stock market debut of his aerospace company.

According to a CNN report, the milestone was achieved after SpaceX priced its initial public offering at $135 per share, significantly boosting Musk’s personal fortune to just over $1 trillion.

Shares of the company, trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “SPCX,” surged shortly after the opening bell, rising approximately 22 per cent to $165 per share. The strong market performance pushed SpaceX’s valuation beyond $2 trillion, making it one of the most valuable publicly traded companies in the United States.

Prior to the IPO, Musk’s fortune was already estimated at $813 billion, placing him comfortably ahead of other global billionaires.

With the latest increase, his wealth now exceeds the combined fortunes of several of the world’s richest individuals, including Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, as well as Oracle founder Larry Ellison.

The development further cements Musk’s position at the top of the global wealth rankings and highlights investor confidence in SpaceX’s business model and long-term growth prospects.

At its current valuation, SpaceX has become the sixth-largest publicly traded company in the United States, trailing only technology giants Nvidia, Alphabet, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon.

The company oversees a range of businesses, including Starlink, its rapidly expanding satellite internet service, and xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence venture behind the Grok chatbot.

Analysts say the record-breaking valuation reflects the growing influence of the commercial space industry, artificial intelligence and satellite communications, sectors in which Musk continues to play a dominant role.

The historic milestone marks another chapter in the entrepreneur’s rise from technology innovator to the world’s first trillionaire.
