Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has urged Nigerians to always draw the government’s attention to issues they believe need to be addressed.
Wike made the appeal on Monday during his monthly media briefing in Abuja.
He noted that government officials are human and cannot be expected to know everything, stressing the importance of constructive feedback from citizens.
The minister encouraged Nigerians to go beyond criticism by offering practical suggestions that could help improve governance.
“You can always call our attention to issues and make your own suggestions to the government. The government does not know everything; I am human.
“It should not just be about coming out to criticise and fault what the government is doing. What responsible citizens should do is to draw the government’s attention to such matters,” he said.
