IKEJA LG SEEKS STRONGER REVENUE MOBILISATION FOR IMPROVED SERVICE DELIVERY

Ikeja Local Government Chairman, Comrade AKOD, has emphasised the importance of strengthening revenue mobilisation as a key driver of effective service delivery and sustainable development within the council.
Speaking at the council’s weekly revenue meeting, AKOD urged revenue officers to be proactive in carrying out their duties and to eliminate leakages that could hinder the local government’s revenue generation efforts.
He noted that enhanced revenue collection is essential to sustaining the administration’s people-centred projects and development initiatives across Ikeja.

The chairman also assured officials that his administration is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure the Revenue Task Force operates efficiently and without obstacles.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Ikeja Local Government Revenue Task Force, Mr. Tunde Britto, pledged the team’s commitment to delivering optimal performance and exceeding the revenue targets set by the administration.
The meeting was attended by members of the management team, as well as special advisers on revenue mobilisation and other key council officials.
