INEC COMMENCES ROTATION OF VOTER ENROLMENT DEVICES ACROSS WARDS IN OSUN STATE
By Aishat Momoh. O.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun State has announced the commencement of the rotation of Voter Enrolment Devices (IVEDs) across all wards in the state as part of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Exercise.
The exercise, which began today, is aimed at bringing voter registration services closer to eligible citizens at the ward level, promoting greater access, inclusiveness, and participation in the electoral process.
Under the arrangement, IVEDs will rotate across all wards within each Local Government Area in Osun State, allowing residents to conveniently register for their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and access other approved voter registration services.
The rotation exercise will last for 50 days, running from 2nd February to 10th April 2026. Eligible residents are encouraged to visit the designated registration centres in their wards within this period to complete their registration.
For transparency and effective public monitoring, a detailed rotation schedule by Local Government Area will be made available to the public.
The Commission, under the leadership of Dr. Mutiu Agboke, reassures the people of Osun State of its commitment to a credible, inclusive, and accessible voter registration process, and calls on all stakeholders to support the success of the exercise.
