JAMB EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR 2021-2025 ADMISSION ACCEPTANCE TO NOVEMBER 30

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has extended the deadline for candidates with outstanding admission offers from 2021 to 2025 to accept or reject the offers on its Central Admissions Processing System.
JAMB announced the extension on Wednesday, giving affected candidates until November 30, 2026, to take action.
The board urged candidates with pending admission offers to log into their CAPS accounts and indicate whether they wish to accept or reject the offers.
JAMB warned that candidates who fail to act before the new deadline will lose the status of their outstanding offers on its records.
According to the board, any outstanding offer that remains neither accepted nor rejected after November 30 will automatically revert to “Not Admitted.”
The latest extension follows an earlier deadline of September 30, 2026, which JAMB had announced on August 30. The board had previously extended the initial August 31 deadline to September 30.
JAMB advised affected candidates not to wait until the last minute and urged them to check their CAPS accounts and take the necessary action before the new deadline.
The board also warned that any subsequent request to update an admission after the deadline would attract the applicable penalty fee.
