KOGI: POLICE RESCUE ABDUCTED MOTHER, FOUR-MONTH-OLD BABY

A woman and her four-month-old baby who were abducted during a bandit attack in Ijalu community, Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, have been rescued by security operatives.

The victims were kidnapped on Wednesday evening when suspected bandits stormed the Ijalu area along the Solid Rock School axis, triggering fear and confusion among residents.

Their rescue followed a coordinated operation involving local vigilantes and other security personnel in Egbe, working alongside troops of the Nigerian Army.

Following the abduction, security agencies immediately launched a manhunt for the attackers, conducting intensive search and rescue efforts in the area.

The operation ultimately resulted in the safe recovery of the mother and her infant, bringing relief to the community after the traumatic incident.
