The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced Friday, August 21, 2026, as the commencement date for the Common Entrance Screening Test for candidates who successfully registered for the exercise.
The examination will run from August 21 to August 24, beginning at 8:00 a.m. daily, at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo, Lagos.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Board said the examination portal had been opened for candidates to print their examination slips ahead of the exercise.
It urged candidates to log on to the portal, print their slips and carefully verify the information contained on them before their scheduled examination dates.
The Board also advised candidates to bring their printed examination slips to the examination centre and arrive early.
“All candidates are strongly advised to take note of the examination dates, time and venue, and make adequate arrangements to arrive at the centre early,” the statement said.
The Board clarified that PSSDC, Magodo, is the only designated venue for the screening test.
The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, urged candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and comply with all examination rules and regulations to ensure a smooth exercise.
Orunsolu, on behalf of the Board, wished all candidates a successful and hitch-free Common Entrance Screening Test.
The Board reiterated that candidates must print and present their examination slips at the centre on their respective examination dates.
