A man has been given a prison sentence after being found guilty of several serious sexual offenses against children.

Goodness Sokoh, 35, from North Street, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, was convicted by a jury of three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault by penetration, two counts of making a child watch a sexual act, and one count of encouraging a child into a sexual activity.

The verdict was given on Tuesday, August 4, at Amersham Law Court. On October 20, Sokoh was sentenced to 21 years in prison at the same court.

He has also been placed under a restraining order that applies to all victims and must remain on the Sex Offenders Register for the rest of his life.

From October 31 to December 17 of last year, Sokoh used the Snapchat username ‘GWDY_SXNGS‘ to talk to four teenage girls.
He then met them in Pitstone, Buckinghamshire, pretending to give them free vapes and cannabis.  After meeting the girls, Sokoh sexually assaulted and raped them.

He was arrested on December 17, 2025, and charged two days later.  Detective Constable Natalie Palmer from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit said: “I want to thank the victims for their strength, courage, and resilience throughout this long investigation and trial.
The girls showed incredible bravery.Despite everything they had been through, they stayed committed to helping with the investigation and seeking justice.

“I am very proud of the way they behaved and the determination they showed during such a difficult time.
I would also like to acknowledge the support of their families, especially their mothers, who stood by them throughout.Their love, strength, and encouragement were vital in helping the girls feel safe and supported during the police investigation and court process.

“While I know this outcome doesn’t end their journey, I hope it brings some reassurance that their voices were heard and that the criminal justice system listened to them.
I hope this result allows them and their families to start moving forward, healing, and looking to the future with confidence and hope.

“We are open to the possibility that there might be more victims.
We urge anyone who has been affected by Sokoh’s actions or has information that could help our investigation to contact Thames Valley Police.”
