African footballers continue to make a significant impact in the English Premier League, with several stars commanding lucrative contracts at some of the competition’s biggest clubs.

According to salary estimates published by MSN on Wednesday, Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush is the highest-paid African player in the Premier League.

Players from Cameroon, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Algeria and Nigeria also feature prominently on the list.

Omar Marmoush – Egypt, Manchester City

Marmoush reportedly tops the ranking with a weekly salary of £295,000.

The Egyptian forward joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 after an impressive spell in the Bundesliga.

His reported earnings are almost twice the £150,000 weekly salary received by several other African players on the list.

Bryan Mbeumo – Cameroon, Manchester United

Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo is reportedly earning £150,000 per week at Manchester United.

The forward joined the club from Brentford and has established himself as one of Cameroon’s leading attacking players in the Premier League.

Antoine Semenyo – Ghana, Manchester City

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo is also reported to earn £150,000 weekly at Manchester City.

His development in English football has boosted his profile and value, culminating in a move to the Etihad Stadium.

Mohammed Kudus – Ghana, Tottenham Hotspur

Another Ghanaian, Mohammed Kudus, reportedly earns £150,000 per week at Tottenham Hotspur.

The attacking midfielder has become one of Africa’s prominent players in the Premier League after making a name for himself at West Ham United.

Yoane Wissa – DR Congo, Newcastle United

DR Congo international Yoane Wissa is reportedly earning about £140,000 per week at Newcastle United.

The forward has remained a consistent attacking presence in the Premier League and ranks among Africa’s highest-paid players in England.

Noussair Mazraoui – Morocco, Manchester United

Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui reportedly earns £135,000 per week at Manchester United.

His salary places him among the highest-paid African defenders in the Premier League.

Amad Diallo – Ivory Coast, Manchester United

Ivorian winger Amad Diallo is estimated to earn £120,000 per week at Manchester United.

The reported figure makes him one of the better-paid African players at Old Trafford.

Rayan Aït-Nouri – Algeria, Manchester City

Algerian defender Rayan Aït-Nouri is also reportedly earning £120,000 per week at Manchester City.

His move to the Etihad has further strengthened the presence of African talent at the club.

Carlos Baleba – Cameroon, Manchester United

Cameroon midfielder Carlos Baleba is reportedly set to earn around £90,000 per week following his move to Manchester United from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 22-year-old spent three seasons at Brighton after joining from Lille in 2023 before securing his move to Old Trafford.

Alex Iwobi – Nigeria, Fulham

Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi is estimated to earn approximately £80,000 per week at Fulham, translating to about £4.16 million annually, excluding bonuses.

Iwobi joined Fulham from Everton in September 2023 and remains one of Nigeria’s most prominent players in the Premier League.
