MBAPPE HAT-TRICK POWERS REAL MADRID TO SECOND STRAIGHT LA LIGA WIN

Kylian Mbappe scored a stunning hat-trick as Real Madrid cruised to a 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad in La Liga, giving Jose Mourinho a winning start in his first home game since returning as the club’s manager.
Madrid made it two wins from two under Mourinho, with Vinicius Junior also finding the net, while Jude Bellingham produced two assists as the attacking trio overwhelmed the Basque visitors.
Mourinho fielded the same starting XI that secured a late 2-1 victory over Espanyol in his first match back at the club.

Real Madrid started brightly, with Vinicius and Mbappe both testing goalkeeper Alex Remiro, while Thibaut Courtois was also forced into action to deny Real Sociedad captain Mikel Oyarzabal.
The hosts eventually broke the deadlock five minutes before half-time when Federico Valverde set up Mbappe, who brilliantly escaped his marker before firing into the top corner.
Real Sociedad levelled before the break through Luka Sucic, whose effort took a deflection off Alvaro Carreras on its way into the net.
Mbappe restored Madrid’s lead early in the second half after combining with Jude Bellingham, calmly finishing past Remiro.
Vinicius then added Madrid’s third after Bellingham showed determination to win back possession inside the Sociedad penalty area before setting up the Brazilian forward.
Mbappe completed his hat-trick after Vinicius supplied a perfectly weighted pass, allowing the French striker to lift the ball over Remiro for the pick of the night’s goals.
The result marked another impressive display from Madrid’s attacking trio and strengthened Mourinho’s perfect start since returning to the Santiago Bernabeu.
