N36M FRAUD CASE: COURT RESERVES DECISION ON BLESSING CEO’S BAIL REQUEST

Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has reserved ruling on the bail application filed by social media personality and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.

The court fixed June 9, 2026, for the delivery of its decision on the application.

The development was disclosed in a statement posted on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) official X account on Friday.

Blessing CEO is facing a two-count charge brought by the EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 over allegations of obtaining by false pretence and stealing involving N36 million.

At Friday’s proceedings, the court heard arguments from both parties regarding the bail request before adjourning for ruling.

According to the EFCC, the charges are linked to alleged financial misconduct amounting to N36 million.

The matter is expected to proceed after the court delivers its ruling on the bail application next week.
