Nigerian forwards Akor Adams and Samuel Chukwueze are set to face each other when Venezia travel to AC Milan’s San Siro on Friday in the second matchday of the 2026/27 Serie A season.

Chukwueze, now operating as a wing-back under Milan manager Ruben Amorim, will aim to build on his impressive performance in the Rossoneri’s 2-1 opening-day victory over Torino.

Adams, meanwhile, will lead Venezia’s attack after making a strong start to life at the newly promoted club. The forward, who joined as the club’s record signing, scored twice in a 3-2 Coppa Italia victory over Modena.

However, Venezia began their Serie A campaign on a disappointing note, losing 2-0 at home to Lecce despite having two goals ruled out.

Milan have dominated recent meetings between the sides, winning their last five encounters and keeping clean sheets in four.

Adams could face another Nigerian international in his next Coppa Italia outing, with Venezia scheduled to play Udinese, where goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is expected to feature.
