FG AGENCY HEADS MOBILISE FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION

Federal Government appointees heading agencies and parastatals have commenced mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.
The move was announced at the maiden meeting of the Forum of PBAT CEOs in Abuja on Thursday, where members advocated continuity of the administration’s reforms and programmes.
The forum, made up of heads of various government agencies and departments, said sustaining the current policies was necessary to consolidate ongoing reforms and development initiatives.

The meeting was convened by the Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation, Dr Kazeem Raji, under the theme, “Strengthening Collective Leadership, Mobilisation and Support for the Re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Raji described the agency heads as “foot soldiers of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” urging them to not only implement government policies but also document and communicate their impact to Nigerians.
He said the forum would promote inter-agency collaboration, strengthen coordination and mobilise support for the continuity of the administration’s agenda.
Raji also encouraged members to engage Nigerians through professional networks, communities and other legitimate platforms, stressing that political participation must remain within the law.
He said the mobilisation should be based on persuasion and evidence of government performance rather than coercion.
According to him, long-term reforms require consistency to achieve their full impact, noting that policies that are working should be strengthened while those requiring adjustments should be improved.
The forum also highlighted reforms in areas including fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange, taxation, infrastructure, power, agriculture, healthcare, education, technology and digital connectivity.
Raji urged the appointees to demonstrate the impact of their respective agencies by providing measurable evidence of their achievements.
He stressed the need to balance political participation with professionalism in public service, saying the forum should promote “unity without uniformity, loyalty without sycophancy, and support without compromising professionalism.”
