Barcelona will host the 2029 UEFA Champions League final at the Camp Nou, UEFA has officially announced.
The decision means the iconic stadium will stage its first Champions League final in 30 years, with the last one taking place on May 26, 1999.
On that occasion, Manchester United produced a dramatic comeback to defeat Bayern Munich 2-1 and lift the trophy.
The 2029 final will also mark the third European Cup/Champions League final hosted by Camp Nou. The stadium previously staged the 1989 European Cup final, when AC Milan defeated Steaua București 4-0.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena has been selected to host the 2028 Champions League final.
The Munich stadium hosted the 2025 final, where Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan 5-0 to win their first Champions League title.
The Allianz Arena also hosted the 2012 final, when Bayern Munich suffered a painful defeat at home, losing to Chelsea on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
