During the raid, operatives recovered hard drugs and a cache of charms believed to have been used by the gang for “spiritual fortification.” Some members of the group reportedly escaped, but a manhunt has been launched to apprehend them.

The Corps described the arrest as “a significant stride in the fight against violent crime in Osun State and its environs.”

This comes days after the Ondo State Amotekun Corps paraded 28 suspected criminals arrested across its 18 local government areas. The suspects, apprehended in collaboration with security agencies and vigilantes, were linked to kidnapping, cattle rustling, theft, vandalism, and other crimes.
