PDP SET TO INAUGURATE 2025 CONVENTION COMMITTEE ON TUESDAY

The Peoples Democratic Party has proclaimed that it will commence its 2025 National Convention Organising Committee (Main Committee) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

As per a communiqué issued on Thursday and endorsed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, this announcement was made subsequent to the endorsement by the party’s National Executive Committee.

The communiqué indicated that the inauguration will occur at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, in Abuja, at 12 noon.

It highlighted that the 110-member committee will be presided over by Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, while Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, will act as Vice Chairman. Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has been appointed Secretary.

“The NWC urges all leaders, key stakeholders, and numerous members of the PDP to remain cohesive, dedicated, and continue collaborating towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention, which is set to take place in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, from Saturday, November 15, to Sunday, November 16, 2025,” the communiqué concluded.
