POLICE ACADEMY ANNOUNCES SCREENING DATES FOR 13TH REGULAR COURSE

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has announced that applicants for its 13th Regular Course will undergo a screening exercise beginning September 9, 2026.
The academy made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad.
According to the statement, candidates are required to print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8.
The screening exercise, which will run until September 18, will include a Computer-Based Test, physical assessment, medical screening and Selection Board interview.
The CBT will be conducted in batches according to candidates’ states of origin.
The first batch, scheduled for September 9, comprises candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi states. The second batch, on September 10, will cover Bauchi Batch B, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta.
Candidates from Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo will take the CBT on September 11, while those from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina are scheduled for September 12.
On September 13, candidates from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa will sit for the examination, while those from Niger, Ogun, Ondo and Osun will take theirs on September 14.
Candidates from Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba states are scheduled for September 15, while those from Yobe and Zamfara will take the CBT on September 16.
The academy directed candidates to present the original and photocopies of their Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, letter of identification, completed guarantor’s form, medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs and application acknowledgement slip.
Applicants were also instructed to wear white T-shirts, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes throughout the exercise.
The academy advised candidates to arrive a day before their scheduled examination dates, noting that accommodation would be provided within the academy during the screening period.
It further stated that parents would not be allowed into the academy and urged candidates to rely only on the official POLAC Admission Portal for information, warning against fraudulent social media accounts impersonating the institution.
