POLICE DEBUNK VIRAL FAKE ‘WANTED’ POSTER OF ACTRESS IYABO OJO

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has dismissed a viral “wanted” poster of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, describing it as fake and misleading.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Thursday, the Force clarified that the publication did not originate from the police and was never shared on any of its official platforms.

The statement read: “This ‘WANTED’ poster of actress Iyabo Ojo did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force.
“It is false, misleading & was never posted on any official NPF platform. Disregard & stop spreading fake news. Verify only from official NPF channels”, it added.
The Police urged members of the public to always rely on verified information from its official communication channels and refrain from circulating unconfirmed reports.
