Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has left the national team’s training camp following a conversation with the president of the Portuguese Football Federation.
The veteran forward said his decision came after a press conference by Portugal coach Jorge Jesus, although he did not immediately reveal the specific reasons for his departure.
Ronaldo was quoted as saying on Wednesday that he decided to leave the camp after the coach’s press conference and his subsequent discussion with the federation president.
