RUDEBOY REACTS TO MR P’S ALLEGATION AGAINST THEIR LATE MOTHER

Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has reacted after his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), alleged that their late mother, Josephine Okoye, and other family members mistreated his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, during their relationship.
In a post shared on his social media pages on Friday, Rudeboy appeared to respond to the claims without addressing them directly. He wrote, “Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum.”
His post followed the release of the eighth episode of Mr P’s ongoing tell-all video series on Thursday, in which the singer detailed events surrounding the long-running P-Square family feud.
In the episode, Mr P recalled a family meeting held at his Omole residence shortly after Lola gave birth to their son. He alleged that his late mother, alongside his brothers Jude, Paul and Tony, as well as some pastors, confronted him and his wife over their relationship.
According to Mr P, his mother visited the family home when his son was about five or six months old. Rather than asking about the baby, she requested to see Lola alone. To ensure his wife came without their child, he claimed he told her the house had been fumigated.
Mr P alleged that when Lola arrived, everyone present was seated while neither he nor his wife was offered a seat, forcing them to sit on the floor.
He further claimed that his mother told Lola, “Young woman, we the Okoye family have decided that you should leave our son alone.”
Mr P said he was shocked by the confrontation and alleged that Jude also made a derogatory remark about his infant son, which Lola interpreted as describing the child as a “bastard.” He claimed the encounter left Lola in tears before she was escorted out of the house by the pastors.
The singer also alleged that Jude and Rudeboy had earlier opposed Lola’s pregnancy and circulated an anonymous email questioning the paternity of his unborn son.
According to Mr P, their late mother later acknowledged that the child was indeed his and instructed Paul and Jude to apologise, but the apology never came before her death.
He also dismissed claims that Lola had a poor relationship with his mother, insisting that his wife cared for her during her illness and spent months supporting her in hospital.
While Rudeboy did not directly respond to the specific allegations, his tribute to their late mother was widely interpreted as a defence of her.
The latest exchange adds to the prolonged public dispute between the former P-Square members and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over the group’s breakup, royalties, business management and family relationships.
In previous episodes of his video series, Mr P accused Jude of financial misconduct, threatening his life and attempting to dispossess him of jointly owned property in Atlanta. Jude has denied the key allegations, maintaining that many of the issues are already before the court.
Although Rudeboy has largely stayed away from the public feud, his management recently said the singer remains focused on his music career and has no intention of engaging in public exchanges over family matters.
