Samuel Chukwueze was named Man of the Match after helping AC Milan secure a 2-1 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande on Sunday night.

The Nigerian international, who was deployed as a wing-back by manager Ruben Amorim, provided the assist for Adrien Rabiot’s second goal in the 67th minute.

Chukwueze created a game-high four chances and recorded nine touches in the opposition box, the joint-most in the match.

The 27-year-old consistently troubled Torino’s defence with his pace, particularly during Milan’s dominant first-half attacks down his flank.

Chukwueze has made an impressive return to Milan following his loan spell with Premier League side Fulham last season.

He will look to maintain his form when Milan host Venezia in their next league fixture at the San Siro.
