TINUBU MOURNS AMAECHI’S MOTHER, HAILS HER LIFE OF FAITH AND SERVICE

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences over the death of Dame Ezinne Amaechi, the mother of former Rivers State Governor and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late matriarch, who died at the age of 89, as a woman of deep faith whose life was defined by love, sacrifice and selfless service.

Tinubu said Dame Amaechi was a devoted Catholic who upheld strong family values and raised children committed to serving the nation.

He noted that her life exemplified kindness, perseverance and humility, virtues that earned her admiration from many who knew her.

The President extended his heartfelt condolences to Rotimi Amaechi, the Amaechi family, the Catholic faithful, and the government and people of Rivers State over the loss.

He described the deceased as a champion of faith whose legacy of humility and service to humanity would continue to inspire others.

Tinubu prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant comfort and strength to her family and all those mourning her passing.

He also urged the bereaved family to take solace in the enduring legacy of faith, dignity and service she left behind through her contributions to her family, the Church and society.
