TIWA SAVAGE REVEALS SHE’S YET TO EXPERIENCE TRUE LOVE

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has shared that, at 44, she has yet to experience true love.
She revealed that aside from the love she receives from her son, Jamil, she hasn’t felt genuine love from anyone else.
iwa Savage has reflected on her past relationships, admitting that what she once believed was love was, in hindsight, mere infatuation.
“In all honesty, I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son. Looking back at my previous relationships, I realize now that it wasn’t love—I was just infatuated. At the time, it felt real, but now I know it wasn’t. I don’t think I’ve experienced true love, not even in my marriage,” the singer shared in an interview with Zeze Mills.
Savage went on to say she has come to terms with the possibility that love may not be in the cards for her.
“Maybe love just isn’t for me. I’ve tried time and again, but it never works out—so maybe love isn’t meant for me in this lifetime,” she added.
Hotjist recalls that Tiwa Savage married her former manager, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, in 2013. However, their marriage ended in 2018 after unsuccessful attempts to reconcile. The union produced a son, Jamil.
