US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Iran and the US had “largely negotiated” a deal that included opening the Strait of Hormuz, but the draft was “subject to finalisation.”

“An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalisation between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, referring to multiple Middle East nations.

“In addition to many other elements of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened,” he added.
