Nollywood actor Oluwole Cole, popularly known as Baraka, has described actress Mosunmola Filani as arrogant and disrespectful, recounting a past disagreement they had while working on a movie set.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the African A-List podcast, Baraka alleged that Filani displayed a rude attitude toward some of her senior colleagues in the industry, including actor Kunle Afod and the late Murphy Afolabi.

According to him, the incident occurred during a film production at a hotel, where Afod and Afolabi reportedly had an unpleasant encounter with the actress.

“Back then, Mosun Filani was very rude and full of herself,” Baraka claimed.

He explained that after learning of the alleged exchange, he confronted Filani when she later arrived at another location for filming.

Baraka said some industry figures, including Mr Latin, had advised him to remain calm and allow them to address the matter, but tensions escalated when the actress arrived for the shoot.

He recalled that members of the crew initially refused to continue filming unless Filani was removed from the location.

The actor also noted that actress Fathia Balogun, whom he described as Filani’s mentor at the time, was present during the confrontation.

According to Baraka, he made it clear that his disagreement with Filani had nothing to do with her association with senior industry figures, insisting that respect should be earned regardless of influence or connections.

He further revealed that actor Lala attempted to intervene and calm the situation during the heated exchange.
