GANDUJE CONGRATULATES TINUBU ON HIS VICTORY IN THE APC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the governor of Kano State, congratulated Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, on his victory in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary poll on Wednesday.
In a congratulatory message signed by him, the governor said Tinubu’s election as the APC’s flagbearer in the 2023 general election will be a win for the Nigeria project.
He claims that the Jagaban “has the capacity to provide the necessary leadership to consolidate and maintain the country’s democratic accomplishments.”
Ganduje praised President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) for creating an enabling atmosphere that resulted in the standard flagbearer, the National Working Committee, the delegates, and all other organs and structures of the party across the federation working together to ensure the convention’s success.
Other hopefuls, particularly Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who submitted themselves to a transparent democratic process, were also praised by the governor for their outstanding sportsmanship demonstrated over the lengthy consultation period leading up to the convention.
He also urged Tinubu to “bring his political and socioeconomic experience to bear on the party leadership and members to close ranks and work for the party’s triumph in the upcoming election.”
As the party marched with Nigerians to victory in 2023, Ganduje urged all party members to be united and determined.
