
JUST IN: ABIA PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IS DEAD

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Abia State; Professor Uche E. Ikonne is dead.
He died at the National Hospital Abuja at about 4am on Wednesday morning, January 25, 2023.
He was recovering after having received proper medical care in the United Kingdom, for an undisclosed ailment.
A statement by the family said that Ikonne suffered multiple cardiac arrests and passed-on Wednesday morning.
His party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to issue an official statement on the incidence.
