Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen has made it into the 10-man shortlist for the 2023 CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

The striker was also the top scorer in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series with 10 goals.
His Napoli teammates, Frank Zambo-Anguissa, Vincent Aboubacar, Riyad Mahrez, Mohamed Salah and Achraf Hakimi are also on the shortlist.
Other nominees are Sadio Mane, Yassine Bounou, Sofyan Amrabat and Yousef En-Nesyri.
