“Nigeria stands at a defining moment. Our democracy thrives only when citizens are informed and actively engaged. Our communities are safer when citizens are alert and cooperative. Our youth flourish when guided by the right values. Our heritage endures when we uphold our symbols and identity. Our lives and livelihoods are preserved when we prepare ahead of natural disasters,” he said.

The Director-General indicated that the initiatives will encompass press conferences conducted in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, as well as grassroots engagement in markets, educational institutions, transportation hubs, places of worship, and community centers across all 774 Local Government Areas.

He further noted that the organization will disseminate materials in English and prominent Nigerian languages, alongside radio, television, and social media campaigns to be executed daily “to connect with Nigerians wherever they may be.”

Issa-Onilu encouraged Nigerians to participate in the initiative and to seek information from reliable sources, while appealing to the media, traditional and religious leaders, civil society organizations, student groups, and other stakeholders to collaborate with the National Orientation Agency in mobilizing for the campaigns.

“This campaign will only thrive if our media allies, such as yourselves, remain actively involved. Therefore, we urge you to assist us and support Nigerians, of whom you are a part, to ensure we all endorse this initiative and utilize our platforms to communicate our messages to our audiences,” the Director-General articulated.
