A 27-year-old Nigerian fashion designer, Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, has etched his name into the record books by creating a robe with the longest sleeves in the world, measuring an incredible 51.20 metres (167.97 ft).
Ezeh, who combines his fashion design and tailoring career with studies at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, outdid global benchmarks with his remarkable creation.
The sleeves are longer than the Statue of Liberty’s height (46.5 m) and surpass the length of an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 m).
Describing the achievement as a milestone born from determination and creativity, Ezeh revealed plans to showcase his work internationally.
“I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like,” he said.
His record-breaking design has been hailed as a show-stopping piece that blends artistry with extraordinary craftsmanship, cementing Nigeria’s growing reputation on the global fashion scene.
