The President left Brasília, Brazil, at around 12:57 p.m. local time on Wednesday, heading to Abuja after a high-level state visit aimed at deepening Nigeria-Brazil bilateral ties.

Tinubu had arrived in Brasília in the early hours of Monday, August 25, for the strategic diplomatic engagement, shortly after attending TICAD9 in Japan.

While in Brazil, he met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and other top Brazilian officials, held private talks, and witnessed the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

The agreements covered aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology, and agriculture — critical sectors in Nigeria’s development agenda.
