RIVERS UNITED’S OYOWAH HOPEFUL OF TOP-THREE FINISH
Rivers United midfielder Alex Oyowah says it is important for the team to maintain their push for a top-three finish.
The Pride of Rivers currently occupy 14th position on the table with 31 points.
Rivers United, however, have three outstanding games to be played.
Oyowah believes that with consistency the team can put pressure on the team’s at the top.
“I think it will give us hope, because if we keep the pressure on the other teams, maybe they will have an unlucky game or drop points somewhere,” he told Lodgexpress.
“We have to ensure we are ready to take advantage of our outstanding matches.
“We concentrate on our games, we go game-by-game and we have to win all of them to give ourselves a chance.
“Then we will see what happens on the final day.”
Rivers United will be up against Sunshine Stars in their next NPFL game.
