TESCOM DEBUNKS FAKE WHATSAPP RECRUITMENT NOTICES, WARNS JOB SEEKERS

The Chairman, Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino, has dismissed fake recruitment messages circulating on social media, claiming to recruit teachers into the State Teaching Service Commission.
She urged job seekers and the public to disregard the WhatsApp messages, stressing that they did not originate from TESCOM.
Mrs. Peregrino warned against falling prey to online scammers who use the Commission’s name to deceive the public into paying money. She clarified that TESCOM, as a corporate entity, would never advertise recruitment opportunities via WhatsApp or social media and has not authorized anyone to distribute such notices on her behalf.
“The Commission hereby advises the public against falling into the hands of fraudsters, as the State Government did not authorize any individual to issue recruitment notice on its behalf”, the Chairman warned.
She also advised the scammers to desist from their illegal activities as the law will soon catch up with them.
