The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress have decided to stop their planned protest in the Federal Capital Territory. They have told workers in the Federal Capital Territory Administration to go back to work right away.
This decision came after a long discussion during the night involving labour leaders, the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, and members of the Senate Committee on the FCT.

The meeting started late on Monday and went through to early Tuesday.
It ended with an agreement that made the unions stop their protest and get back to normal work at FCTA offices.
