KAI CENAT MEETS LAGOS GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU DURING VISIT TO THE CITY

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday welcomed renowned American streamer and internet personality, Kai Cenat, at the Lagos House, Marina.
The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, confirmed the meeting in a post on X, noting that Cenat, on his second visit to Lagos, paid a courtesy call to the governor and shared insights from his stay in the state.
“Kai Cenat is in Lagos to follow up on some projects and initiatives he plans to execute for children and young people in Lagos State,” Gawat said.

Cenat, one of the world’s most-followed streamers, is widely known for his live-streamed content on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, commanding a massive global audience, particularly among youth.
Officials from the Lagos State Government did not disclose further details regarding Cenat’s itinerary or the specific nature of his engagements during the visit.
The visit follows closely on the heels of another US streamer, IShowSpeed, whose recent tour of Lagos drew large crowds and significant attention on social media.
