VIRAL ADMISSION LETTER NOT ISSUED BY NDA, CONFIRMS AUTHORITY

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has warned the public about a fraudulent invitation letter circulating online, allegedly addressed to Abubakar Washima, claiming he was selected for admission into the academy.
In a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Maj. Reuben Kovangiya, the NDA clarified that the letter did not originate from the academy and should be ignored.
The statement emphasized that all genuine invitations for screening or admission are communicated exclusively through the official NDA website, www.nda.edu.ng, and select recognised national newspapers.
The academy urged the public to exercise caution, verify all admission-related information via official channels, and report any suspicious documents or activities for confirmation.
“Anyone found participating in such fraudulent activities will face the full force of the law,” the NDA warned.
