Popular TikToker and streamer Peller recently shared his thoughts on Nigerian music artists.
During a livestream in Enugu, Peller revealed that, based on his experience collaborating with and following Nigerian musicians, he found that only a small number of them are genuinely kind.
He added that many Nigerian musicians tend to give interviews to foreign influencers and media figures, and usually only engage with Nigerian media personalities when their popularity starts to decline.
“Nigerian musicians don’t value local streamers. They’ll be collaborating with Americans, but once their popularity starts to fade, that’s when they begin looking for Nigerian streamers everywhere.
“I’ve seen it for myself. Very few Nigerian musicians are genuinely kind. Davido, Olamide, and Tiwa Savage are among the rare kind ones,” he said.
Peller encouraged Nigerian entertainers, particularly musicians, to support local media and influencers, regardless of their international fame.
