CAICEDO COMMITS LONG-TERM FUTURE TO CHELSEA UNTIL 2033

Chelsea Football Club has confirmed that midfielder Moisés Caicedo has signed a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2033.
The Ecuador international joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2023 and has since grown into a key figure in the team.
Caicedo has made 140 appearances for the Blues and played an important role in their victories in the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Reacting to the contract extension, the 24-year-old expressed his excitement and dedication to the club, stating that he believes in the team’s direction and is eager to achieve more success.

He said he remains highly motivated to improve, win more trophies, and give his all for the club and its supporters, adding that he hopes to become a Chelsea legend in the future.
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Caicedo has scored eight goals, including one that was voted the club’s Goal of the Season in 2024. Last season, he was named both Supporters’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season.
This season, he has also taken on leadership responsibilities, captaining the side on several occasions, most recently in a match against Manchester City.
Chelsea described the new deal as a major step in securing the long-term future of one of their most influential players and expressed optimism about the next phase of his career at the club.
